How much is a Hilton point worth?
A Hilton Honors point is worth about 0.4 cents on a typical reward night — where both US reference valuations now sit after two consecutive devaluations. So 100,000 points come to $400 (about £295 or €343), and 150,000 points to $600 (about £442 or €515). Hilton is a low-denomination program: each point is worth little, but you earn a lot of them, so judge it by the balance. What moves the rate is the property — nearer 0.35 cents on low-demand rooms, and 0.5 cents at aspirational resorts or with the fifth-night-free benefit. Points only earn that value against a room you'd otherwise pay cash for.

Around $400 (about £295 or €343) at a typical 0.4 cents per point. Low-demand hotels land nearer $350, and high-end resorts — or a five-night award with the fifth night free — reach $500 or more. You capture that value only against a stay you would otherwise have paid cash for.
Hilton is a low-denomination program: you earn a lot of points per dollar and per stay, so each one is worth less — under half a cent — than a Marriott point or an airline mile. Judge Hilton by the size of the balance and the stays it buys, not the per-point number.

A Marriott Bonvoy point is worth more than a Hilton Honors point — about 0.73 cents against 0.4, per the published US valuations — so a Hilton balance has to be roughly twice the size to buy the same night. Both expire after 24 consecutive months of inactivity. Compare a specific night in cents per point, not balances.
How many Avios for a flight?
It depends on distance and cabin, not a fixed price. British Airways Club prices rewards in distance bands, so since the December 2025 repricing a short-haul economy reward starts at 10,000 Avios one-way, and business on the same routes runs roughly 16,500 to 26,750. Cash taxes and carrier charges are always extra.
What are Avios worth?
One Avios is typically worth about 1p, the working figure both the UK and US reference valuations settle near, so 10,000 Avios come to roughly £100.
