What can your
Virgin Points do?
Enter your Virgin Points and the bank points that transfer in. See which Delta and ANA trips are within reach now, what a single transfer unlocks, and how close you are to the rest. Prices come from Virgin's fixed partner charts, not a live seat search, so treat availability as the last step.

Reward seats are subject to availability — Virgin can only book the partner seats Delta and ANA release. Prices are Virgin's fixed partner charts, one-way and off-peak; peak dates between the US and Europe cost more. Virgin Atlantic's own flights are priced by demand, so they are not listed. Taxes and carrier charges are paid in cash on top, and can run past $1,000 on Delta One across the Atlantic. Bank transfers are one-way, so move points only once you have found the seat.
What can 60,000 Virgin Points and 50,000 Amex points do?
With 60,000 Virgin Points and 50,000 Amex points, you have up to 110,000 Virgin Points to work with. 6 trips are within reach now, and 7 more open up with a transfer. Seats depend on availability. The best-known use is Delta One between New York and London at 47,500 Virgin Points one-way off-peak, so 95,000 for a return. Within the US, Delta flights start at 7,500 points for up to 500 miles, and ANA business from Los Angeles to Tokyo is 52,500.

Three answers, one balance.

The Virgin Points you already hold cover the off-peak partner price. Nothing to move; find the seat and book.

Your Virgin Points alone fall short, but adding your bank points at their transfer ratio clears the price. The tool shows exactly how many bank points to move — only the difference, never the whole balance.

Even a full transfer leaves a gap, shown as the points still missing. Close it by earning more, flying one-way, or choosing a shorter route or a lower cabin.
Delta flights across the Atlantic use Virgin's US–UK and US–Europe charts; every other Delta route is priced by the distance flown; ANA is priced by region to and from Japan. All prices are one-way and off-peak, doubled for a round trip. A few cabins are missing on purpose: where Virgin's pages and other sources give different prices, we leave the cabin out rather than guess. What your Virgin Points can do — common questions
Yes, on a fixed chart. Delta One between the US East Coast and London is 47,500 Virgin Points one-way off-peak, and other Delta routes are priced by distance — from 7,500 points in Main Cabin for flights up to 500 miles. Virgin can only book the reward seats Delta releases to partners, and taxes and carrier charges are paid in cash on top.
Not for its own flights. Since 30 October 2024 Virgin Atlantic prices reward seats by demand, with Saver seats from 6,000 points one-way in economy between London and New York in standard season. Partner airlines such as Delta and ANA still use fixed charts, which is why this calculator is built on them.
American Express Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Bilt Rewards and Citi ThankYou Points all transfer to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club at 1:1, and the calculator lets you add any of them. Capital One transfers to Virgin Red, which is a separate program. Transfers are one-way and cannot be reversed, so find the reward seat before you move points.
No. It compares your balance with Virgin's published partner prices and tells you what the points can cover. Whether a partner reward seat is open on your dates is a separate check, and it is always the last step before you transfer points or book. ANA rewards are booked through the Flying Club team.
Yes. Every reward adds taxes and carrier charges in cash. They are highest on Delta flights across the Atlantic — Virgin's own Delta page lists $1,027.80 on a Delta One seat between the UK and US — and much lower on flights within the US.

How many Avios for a flight?
It depends on distance and cabin, not a fixed price. British Airways Club prices rewards in distance bands, so since the December 2025 repricing a short-haul economy reward starts at 10,000 Avios one-way, and business on the same routes runs roughly 16,500 to 26,750. Cash taxes and carrier charges are always extra.
What are Avios worth?
One Avios is typically worth about 1p, the working figure both the UK and US reference valuations settle near, so 10,000 Avios come to roughly £100. Weak via-hub economy redemptions land nearer 0.9p, while long-haul business can reach about 1.7p. The calculator converts any balance into pounds, dollars and euros.
What can my points do?
Add your Amex Membership Rewards to your Avios, since they transfer to British Airways at 1:1, and compare the total with off-peak reward prices. A New York–London economy return is 55,000 Avios and business 176,000. The tool sorts trips into within reach now, one transfer away and not yet in reach.
