American Airlines AAdvantage is the largest US airline program by membership. A mile is typically worth about 1.5 cents, between the two US reference valuations, which disagree here. Miles expire after 24 months with no earning or redemption, though AAdvantage credit-card holders and members under 21 are exempt from that rule.
