Short answer

Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to 14 partners: ten airlines, including United, Southwest, British Airways, Air Canada Aeroplan and Flying Blue, and four hotel programs — IHG, Marriott, Wyndham and World of Hyatt. All are 1:1 except Hyatt, which is 4:3 from a Sapphire Preferred or Ink Business Preferred by 1 October 2026.

Which airlines can you transfer Chase points to?

Every one of Chase's ten airline partners takes Ultimate Rewards points at 1:1, so 50,000 Chase points become 50,000 United miles, Southwest points or Avios. Three of them — British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus — all pay out in Avios, and Singapore, Air Canada and Flying Blue open up the Star Alliance and SkyTeam networks.

Which hotels can you transfer Chase points to?

IHG, Marriott and Wyndham take Chase points at 1:1. World of Hyatt depends on your card: 1:1 from a Sapphire Reserve, but 4:3 from a Sapphire Preferred or Ink Business Preferred — immediately for Sapphire Preferred accounts opened from 15 June 2026, and from 1 October 2026 for everyone else on those two cards.

Which Chase cards can transfer?

Not every Chase card can transfer. Chase lists three that can: the Sapphire Preferred, the Sapphire Reserve and the Ink Business Preferred. Points earned on other Ultimate Rewards cards, such as the Freedom cards and Ink Cash, have to be combined into one of those accounts before they can move to a partner.

What to check before you transfer

Transfers are one-way — once points reach a partner they cannot come back — so move them when you have a booking in view, not in advance. The ratio is only half the answer: 1:1 into a program whose points are worth under a cent, as Marriott's are, is usually worse than 1:1 into Avios or United miles.

To weigh a transfer, what Avios are worth and what Marriott points are worth put a value on each side, and the Chase expiry rule explains why there is no rush while the card stays open.

Partners and ratios change; check Chase before you transfer. Transfer bonuses are left out on purpose.
