How much is a Hyatt point worth?

A World of Hyatt point is worth about 1.5 cents on a typical award night — the most valuable hotel currency by a distance. So 25,000 points come to $375 (about £276 or €322), and 100,000 points to $1,500 (about £1,110 or €1,290). The published valuations run from 1.4 to 1.8 cents and dipped after Hyatt's 2026 five-tier award chart, so we use a figure inside that spread. Low-category hotels land nearer 1.2 cents; top-category and all-inclusive stays at busy dates reach 2 cents or more.

Where these numbers come from: Frequent Miler 1.5¢ Reasonable Redemption Value, 2.0¢ at the 75th percentile (29 June 2026); The Points Guy 1.65¢ (1 September 2026); NerdWallet 1.8¢ (August 2026); Upgraded Points 1.4¢ (1 September 2026). We publish a figure inside that spread rather than at the friendliest end — a balance that turns out to be worth less than we said is worse than one worth more.

The strongest hotel point

Worth more,
so spend it well.

A Hyatt point is worth more than a cent — two to three times a Marriott or IHG point. The value is in top-category hotels and busy dates; spending points on a cheap room wastes the advantage.
